19. BE SWIFT TO HEAR & SLOW TO SPEAK AND SLOW TO GET ANGRY.
(James 1:19-20) “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.”
• BRIDLE MY TONGUE.
(James 1:26) “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.”
(James 3:10) “Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.”
• BRIDLE MY WHOLE BODY.
(James 3:2) “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.”
