3. Esteem my wife very highly in love…
• From a pure heart.
• From a good conscience.
• From a sincere faith.
(I Tim. 1:5)
“The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

(Now that I am nearing retirement, I will have to rely on Sue so much more now.)
• For my instruction and warning (admonishment).
• For her work’s sake.
• To be at peace among ourselves.
• To put her needs above my own, even if it means I am uncomfortable.
(I Thes 5: 12-13)
“Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”
